The sky is so beautiful, why not have some sasa-dango?
"sasa-dango" last year at the end of October.
It was almost the end of sasa-dango season
and we had been waiting for it for more than half a year.
Yay, it's July and sasa-dango season has begun!!
Not just the taste, but I just love the way it looks,
four tiny dumplings
placed nicely on a bamboo stick,
wrapped perfectly in a bamboo leaf.
I want to watch it from every angle possible!!
Get several skewers of sasa-dango
(believe me you can eat more than 5 of them!!)
and take a stroll along the Miya-river
while enjoying them.
There won't be any happier moment than this!!

松本屋さんの笹だんごと出会ったのは
昨年10月末でした。
すでに笹だんごは終わりの季節、、、。
それから半年以上待ちました。
7月、やった♪
笹だんごの季節です。
好きなのは味だけではありません。
この美しい、かわいい見た目も大好き。
小さな竹串にささった
4つの小さなおだんご
緑の笹に完璧に納まっています。
あらゆる角度からみつめたくなるのです!!
笹だんごを何本か手に持って
宮川をお散歩しましょう。
これ以上の幸福時間はないですね!!

DeleteThis particular mochi shop actually goes out to the mountains to pick the fresh bamboo leaves for the dango. That is why they don't make sasa-dango during winter!!
