Hi from Takayama

I'm Sanae. I have lived in Takayama for 4 and a half years starting Oct. 2014 till March 2019. I enjoyed living in such a beautiful city surrounded by mountains. Here is a blog that shares the happy times I had in Takayama.

My new place is Anjo, Aichi, but I'm too much in love with Takayama, I will continue adding some more infos about Takayama, plus I will be adding some updates about my new place as well.

Also, my life has been about "moving" everywhere!! Believe it or not, this was my 14th time to move and I thought there are a lot to share about my "moving life." There are some special things that I see and experience by living in different cities not just in Japan but in other countries as well!!

さなえです。２０１４年１０月～２０１９年３月まで岐阜県高山市で過ごしました。山に囲まれた美しいこの町が大好きです。

実はすでに高山を出てしまいました。が、この先も時々高山インフォメーションをアップしつつ、近辺（愛知）の様子もお伝えしていこうと思います。

そうそう、それと
何を隠そう、今回の引越は人生で１４度目の引越！あちこちと動き回ったものです。遠距離への引越はもちろん、同じ市内の引越であっても、違う角度から見る空は、全然違っていて、人生をがらっと変えてしまうことすらあります。「当たり前」の明日が来ない生活、大変なことも多いけど、学ぶこともたくさん！そんな「引っ越しあるある」も時々シェアしていきますね。

かえるとあそぼ had fun with the frogs

There is a beautiful flower garden called "Hana no mori" in Kokufu-town,
about 20 minutes drive from our place.

I have written about this place a year ago.

Last year, we went to enjoy the Japanese primroses,
but this year, we went to see the bamboo lilies (Japanese lilies).

Most people visit this wonderful garden to observe and enjoy the flowers.

BUT
for my kids and probably for me as well,
our main purpose of visiting the place is to enjoy the "creatures" that
live in the garden!!

We did some frog fishing, too!!
(Don't worry, we didn't succeed, ha-ha)

There were so many more beautiful and interesting birds and insects
that we didn't/couldn't take photos of!!

It's not a huge place but we could spend the whole afternoon there!!

家から20分ほどドライブしたところに
「花の森」はあります。

ちょうど一年前、ここについて記事を書きました。

昨年はクリン草を楽しんできましたが、
今年はササユリのシーズンでした。

ほとんどの方は、この花々を楽しみにここを訪れるんだと思います。

私たちに限っては別の目的が！！
子供たちと、そして私は
ここに住む「生物」を楽しみに行くのです。

かえる釣りもしちゃいました。
（もちろん、つかまえてはいません　笑）

写真に写さなかった（写せなかった）美しくおもしろい鳥や昆虫もたくさんいます。

広大な敷地、というわけでもありませんが、
半日は優に過ごせる魅力的な公園です♪

    Good day! Hase-ne. English is not easy. But I will study.
    The pictures you took are wonderful!! Is it a digital single lens reflex camera?
    I was just curious.

      Tomo!!
      Good guess!! but actually, my own camera is not. This day, I was with my dad and he has the single-lens reflex!! It's great to carry around a good camera because it changes your point of view.

      Thanks Tomo, for always accessing and reading my blog!! I enjoy your lovely comments as well, and I'm actually so surprised how drastically your English is improving. I'm sure you have tons of beautiful things and views to take in your environment!! Have fun searching for them!!

    Thank you for your compliments. But I really don't know much about language. I'm still unskilled fot English Thai and Japanese all of them. I'm very embarrassed everyday. When I write English I use English sample from internet as a reference. If I don't use it, I'll write a mistaken English.
    Everyone around me can use English very well. I want to be a good English speaker like those people.
