山梨 Yamanashi

I have mentioned several times that
we are quite close to the Sea of Japan
and that we visit Toyama prefecture often.

This time, we found out that we
can travel quite easily to Yamanashi prefecture as well.
If you are a tourist, Yamanashi is famous for Mt. Fuji and
the big lakes around it.

It took us only 2 hours and a bit more to get there
and this time we visited our friends who have started to
live there this spring.

The convenient Abo road & tunnel that runs in between Matsumoto,
Nagano and Takayama allows us to reach Yamanashi in such
short period of time.

We thought Takayama was mountainous but
so was Hokuto city where we visited!!
My friend told me that the altitude of her place is about 1,000 m,
no wonder it was so cool and comfortable even during the
hottest time of the day.

We only had a short stay this time,
but now we know that the place is easily reachable,
we are definitely visiting the place again in the near future!!

高山から日本海は意外と近い！
と、何度かお伝えしましたが、
山梨へも２時間強で着いてしまう、ということを発見！！

春に、山梨へ引っ越した友人に会いに
北杜市へ行ってきました。

安房峠道路＆安房トンネルのお陰もあり、
長野へも山梨へも年間を通して比較的簡単に
行けてしまうんですね。

高山に来て、山が一気に身近になったわけですが
住まいは町の中。
友人の住む北杜市（八ヶ岳の麓にあり標高１，０００メートル）は、
まさに山の中で、もっともっと自然が近くにありました！
この時期の昼間でも涼しいわけだ～。

今回、山梨が意外にも近いことがわかったので
また近いうちに訪れることになるでしょう～。
