at least once a week.
You will know exactly what the season is
by looking at what are being sold at the market.
Summer is almost here!!
Love the cute zucchini collection
of Nomura Plantation Farm, the stall I always stop by!!
I made pickles with these zucchinis,
they were just so fresh and delicious.
Have you ever heard of a Malva verticillata?
It probably has different names but
I could only find its botanical name.
In Japanese this vegetable is called okanori
which means nori (seaweed) on land.
It smells like nori when heated,
how awsome!!
Also, they had lemon basils which smell like lemon
and cinnamon basils which smell like cinnamon!!
You just have to pour hot water to the basils
and it becomes a fresh herb tea with a
relaxing aroma.
Everytime I visit the market,
I find things that I have never seen before!!

lemon basil
