高山へ行ってきましたよ first fun of our summer vacation!!

Thank you so much for being patient with me.

Take it this way.
I'm enjoying the summer too much
and that is why I don't have the time to update my blog.

We spent the whole week in Takayama
on the very first seven days of kids' summer vacation.

We met our friends,
we visited our favorite morning market shops
and had so much fun there!!!

Hydrangea was still beautiful in Takayama!

Thank you, Takayama, for spoiling us
with such a friendly attitude!!!
We're coming again soon!!

なかなかアップデートできずにすみません。

夏を満喫し過ぎているのでしょうか。
そういうことにしておきましょう。

子供達の夏休みが始まってすぐに
早速高山へ行ってきました。

親しい友人に会い
大好きなお団子屋さん、
朝市の方々にもお会いしてきました！！！

まだまだ紫陽花がキレイに咲いていましたよ。

私たちのことをすっかり
甘やかしてくださった＾＾大好きな大好きな方々との時間は
あっと言う間に過ぎました。

また行くからね～。

今朝の二人 kids this morning

Yep, this is the
very regular
very normal
winter scenery of Takayama!!

本日はさすがに除雪車が出動
冬の高山らしい景色になりました。

my 10-year-old and his group heading to school
(he has his ski class again today)
小さく見えるのが、１０歳息子の通学班
（今日もスキー教室です）

And my 13-year-old
I feel so sorry for her having to wear a skirt on such day as well.
(one of the many regulations that I'm against...
oops... I should stay quiet about it)
そしてうちの中学生
こんな雪の日も、スカートで登校します、、、気の毒。

今日の乗鞍 today's Mt. Norikura 13-Dec-2018

Mt. Norikura today is too beautiful.
I just can't resist looking at it.

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed by the size of the house.
It is too small for our family to live in
considering our kids have grown bigger.

But, I love the view from my bedroom window too much.

It's a view I would pay for.

Aren't you jealous I have my own reserved seat to
view this beautiful mountain whenever I want for as long as I wish,
on the sunniest day
on the day with the most beautiful clouds
when the sun is about to rise
on a full moon night
at night with sparkly stars?

本日の乗鞍、美し過ぎませんか。
二階の窓から離れられない私です。
（しかも、窓は開けっぱなし　笑）

こちらの家、少々手狭になっており
（とくに、子供たちのサイズが大きくなってきましたので　＾＾）
不便に感じることもあれこれありますが、
この窓からの眺めが大好きで
結局ずっとこちらにお世話になっております。

お金を払ってでも見たいこの景色♪

空がとにかく青くて澄んでいる日
美しい雲が空いっぱいに広がっている日
山の隅から日が昇る瞬間
満月の美しい夜
星がキラキラと輝く夜
全てを堪能できる完璧なる「乗鞍ビュー」な窓、
ちょっとうらやましくないですか？

雨ばかり、、、 too much rain

Our beloved river looked like this today.
Too much rain, recently.

大好きな宮川、今朝通りかかったら
こんなに増水していました。
雨、しばらくはいりませんーー。

寒かったり暑かったり one day freezing, the other day like summer

It was a beautiful day today!!
空のキレイな日でした。

The morning was cold (4 degrees Celsius)
but who cares!!
朝は4℃、、、寒い、、、
でもそんなことはおかまいなし

The farmers are preparing to do their rice planting.
こちらでも田植えの準備が始まりました

My son came home early today.
So why not go for a bike ride!!
今日は家庭訪問で息子の帰宅も早かったので
出掛けない手はありません。

just a regular day
but the perfect weather made it special.

こんな感じ it's like this

It snowed a bunch a few days ago.

Instead of shoveling the snow away,
we kind of gathered it and kids made a slide.

As long as snow is gathered and hardened,
it won't melt even during the day.

Wait until the snow piles more,
it will become "two stories high slide!!"

数日前、たくさん降りました～。

もちろん、みなさま、「除雪」をしたわけですが
わたしたちは「集雪」（？）をしました 笑。

踏んで固めた雪は
日中でもよほどのことがない限り解けません。

そのうち
二階建てすべり台ができるかな～～♪

by the way, the expressway was like this 2 days ago, scary, isn't it?
二日前の高速道路、、、怖い～～

It snowed quite a lot yesterday considering it's only November!!

But at the same time,
it was sooooo beautiful!

It was a wonderful, sunny day yesterday after the snow.
Even though it was my precious day off after the busiest month,
I just could not resist taking off to enjoy the scenic views.

まだ11月だというのに
結構立派に降りました。

それにしても、キレイな景色！

快晴の少ないこの秋、
昨日は貴重な家事日和、
久しぶりのお休みで、
のんびり＆家事で一日を過ごす予定でしたが、、、
結局カメラを片手にパタパタ～～
と町へ飛んでいきました。
