天気がいいので今日も13,000歩　歩いてきました。
本日は神社・寺院散歩でした。

その話はまた後日！！

あれもしたい、これもしたい
時間が足りません～～～～。

今日の散歩は14500歩 14500 steps stroll

Guess what?
Spring is coming and
I am quite busy these days.

Busy going to the City Hall to speak with the Mayor ^^
Busy doing my tour guide things
and
Busy making a 14500 steps stroll with the kids!!
I mean, busy is not the right word, I just don't have the time
to sit in front of my laptop.

There are lots going on in Takayama that I would like to write about
but forgive me.

Today's post will just be my photos
that I took with my kids.

Aren't they just beautiful?

I love the sky
when the sun is just about to set.

If I have time, I will talk about the little coffee shop that we visited on top of a hill
located at the east side of the old town.

We walked 30,000 steps in total in two days, yay!!

春がやってきますね、
なんだか忙しい毎日なんです。

市長との面談前もなんだかバタバタしました。
特例ガイド関係でもバタバタしております。
そして、子供たちと14500歩散歩にも出かけて、、、
これも忙しさの要因？
よい意味でパソコンに向かう時間がありません。

色々ご紹介した話もあるんですよ、
でも許してくださいね。

今日の記事は散歩の時に撮った
写真メインにします。

キレイですよね。

夕暮れ時の空が好きです。

また時間のある時に、町並みの東側の丘の上で見つけた
素敵な喫茶店のお話をしましょう。

二日で30，000歩歩きましたよ！！

行ってきました our first move

Do you remember I was talking about our wish,
a wish that there were more parks in the town area of Takayama?

I love Takayama.
We love Takayama.
We are so jealous that it has such beautiful, untouched nature.
We are jealous that people can grow up in an environment
surrounded by mountains that change expressions as season passes.

When it's sunny,
we run,
we hurry to a place where the mountains can be seen.

When it's rainy or cloudy,
the mountains are there,
right there but are hidden completely behind the clouds
and the scenery spreads as though nothing is there.

We tell our Takayama friends everyday how
this marvelous view is not there everywhere
and how amazing Takayama is!!

Children needs places to run around and gather other than schools
on daily basis
to get in touch with the nature
to play
to communucate
to fight even!!

And I did go to the Mayor's to
present what we're feeling.

Our wish is just a wish that everyone has in every way.

To be honest, we were thinking he would just listen a bit
say the city will think about it and that's it.

But, we were so surprised at how closely he listened to us.
He even brought directors from related sections.

Of course this does not mean that the city will start making parks
right away but at least, they promised that they will consider it
and we are so happy and satisfied as a start!

以前高山にもっと身近な公園があったらな、
の記事を書いたのは覚えていらっしゃいますか。

あったらいいのにな

高山大好き
家族みんなが大好きです
手付かずの自然が当たり前のようにある高山に少し妬く気持ちすらあります。
移り変わる季節と共に表情を変える
美しい山々に囲まれたこの環境も本当に羨ましい。

快晴の日には
走ります。
乗鞍岳が美しく見えるスポットまで走ります。

雨や曇りの日は
その乗鞍岳が存在していることにも気が付かないくらい
景色が一転します。

高山の友人には、
毎日のように「高山って素晴らしい」と
唱えています。
（ちょっとしつこいおばさんです）

その景色と自然を毎日のように堪能しない手はありません。
毎日のように
走り回り
自然と触れ合い
遊び
友人とたわむれ
時にはケンカも必要！！

この気持ち（願い）が強すぎて
本当に行ってきました、市長のところへ！！

誰にも、「市長に頼みたい願い」はあります。
私たちの願いはその中のたったひとつの小さな願い。
それはわかっています。

正直なところ、
「貴重な意見をありがとうございます。
検討致します。」
で終わるのだろうなと覚悟をしていました。

全く違いました。
関係部署の方々もご参加いただき、
そしてとても真摯に私たちの願いを聞いて下さり、
一瞬
「すぐに実現するのかも」と勘違いしそうになるくらいでした。

もちろん、実現する難しさも理解しているつもりです。
ただ、まずは願いを伝え、
それを聞いて戴けた
大きな第一歩だったのかな、と
少し清々しい気持ちになりました。

高山中心市街地特例通訳案内士 Takayama Downtown Designated Local Guide

Last October,
I have passed an exam and now I am a certified
local guide of Takayama!!

I do not have a national guide certificate
so I am only allowed to guide within the town area of Takayama,
BUT given such wonderful opportunity,
I am having great experiences spending time with clients from all over the world!!

Many beauties of Takayama such as its untouched nature
and historical constructions themselves stand right in front of you
and are obvious to everyone
BUT
some of the beauties do not shout out loud.
They are often quiet and cannot be seen as long as you look for them
or actually communicate with the locals.

My job is to let the tourists get in touch with the locals
and make sure they don't miss the "quiet beauty" of Takayama.

Information is available everywhere in present days,
TV, websites, books, brochures and so forth
you can get to where ever you wish even in a strange town by using apps
but never forget to "communicate" with the locals when you're travelling.
If not you are seeing less than 10 % of what the place and people really are.

Although Takayama is not my hometown,
once I start listing the things I love about this city
the list just goes on and on and nobody can stop me boasting about this place!!
AND that is what I do!!


昨年の10月に
「高山中心市街地特例通訳案内士」の試験に無事合格し、
現在、中心市街地限定で特例ガイドの仕事をしています。

国家資格は持っていないので、
この地域限定ですが、
世界各国からのお客様と触れ合うことのできるこの仕事を
大変気に入っています。

手つかずの大自然や、
歴史ある建造物、
一目瞭然な「美」も多いのですが、
高山の本当の良さ、美しさは
ひっそりと静かに、見えないところに隠れているのです。

私の仕事は、
観光客の皆様に
この「静かな魅力」に気が付いてもらうことだと思っています。

テレビ、インターネット、本、パンフレット
情報はどこにでも溢れています。
初めて訪れる町も、携帯のアプリを利用すれば
ピンポイントに行きたいところへ迷うことなく連れていってくれます。

しかし、地元の人々とのコミュニケーションなしでは、
その町の10パーセントの魅力にも気付かずに旅が終わることになるのでしょう。

高山は私の「ふるさと」ではありません
オラが街ではないけれど
良いところを挙げ出したら、果てしなく続くのです。
自慢したいことがたくさんです。

それをさせてくれるこの仕事が大好きです。

you will be able to find cute and beautiful Hina Dolls everywhere!!

I said you were lucky if you were here from January and February
because you are able to visit the back yards of sake breweries.

Oh,
and Takayama Spring Festival is on April 14 and 15

and cherry blossoms

and Boys Festival

and fresh green season

and so on and so on.

Well,
Takayama is enjoyable all year long for sure!!

3月～4月の頭にかけて
高山を訪れる機会があるあなたはラッキーです。
町のあちこちにかわいいひな人形が飾ってあり、
これを探すのが本当に楽しいのです。

それにしても窓越しオブジェクトの写真の撮り方、どなたか教えてくださいませ　涙。

そう言えば、
1月2月に高山へいらっしゃる方もラッキーって以前言いましたね。
酒蔵巡りができますから。

そうそう4月14日、15日は春の高山祭です。

その後は桜

新緑の季節

などなどなど

どの季節も素晴らしいですよ、高山♪

ひな祭り Girl's Festival

It was Girl's Festival yesterday in Japan (March 3),
but as I've written before,
Girl's Festival in Takayama is celebrated on April 3rd.
(Girl's Festival in Takayama)

Many houses and shops are putting out beautiful Hina Dolls,
and it is so much fun doing a
"find hina dolls walk" in the old town area.

I haven't had the time to visit many shops yet
but that's all right, I still have another month!!

昨日はひな祭り♪
でも、以前書いた通り
高山はひな祭りを4月3日にお祝いします。
（高山のひな祭り）

お店や家々には
かわいいひな人形がそれぞれ飾ってあり
「ひな人形みつけ散歩」がなかなか楽しいのです。

まだ行けてない、
でも4月3日まで時間があるので大丈夫～♪

素敵な露天風呂 beautiful rotenburo

In early January, we went to stay at an onsen-yado (an inn with onsen)
in Shinhotaka Onsen (an onsen town surrounded by Northern Japan Alps)

This was when I wrote about the hantai tamago if you remember.

Normally, Shinhotaka Onsen is an area with heavy snow,
so we were looking forward to having yukimi onsen
(enjoy outdoor onsen with snowy scenery)
but unfortunately, there were no snow at that time.

The yado (inn) was a western style yado
and since we were the only guest on that day,
the yado kindly prepared us a room with four beds!!
Can you imagine how excited our kids were?

Since we were the only guests,
the lobby was all for ourselves,
the restaurant was, too,
and the best part was
all three rotenburo (outdoors onsen) were for us!!

We took turns and enjoyed all three of them for at least
three times each including early morning onsen!!

The onsen itself was simply wonderful but the view was amazing as well.

一月の始めに、新穂高温泉へ泊りがけで行ってきました。

はんたい玉子の記事を書いた時です！！

新穂高温泉郷は、北アルプスの山々に囲まれた
雪深い地域にありますので、
1月であれば、確実に「雪見温泉」ができるつもりでいましたが、
なんと今年は全く雪がありませんでした。

温泉宿でありながら、建物は洋風で
その日は私たちが唯一の宿泊客だったようで
なんとベッドが四台もある部屋を使わせてくださいました。
子供たちは大興奮でしたー。

と言うことは、
ロビーも、
レストランも、
そして三種類もある露天風呂も
全て貸し切り！！

三種類のお風呂にそれぞれ、二、三回ずつ入ってしまいました！！
もちろん早朝風呂も堪能しましたよ♪

温泉そのものも素晴らしかったのですが、
温泉からの景色も最高でした。

（貸し切りだったので撮影しちゃいました　笑）
